BIU To Graduate 722 Students At Its 13th Convocation, 60 First Class Degrees To Be Awarded

The Benson Idahosa University will  graduate a total of 722 students at its 13th convocation ceremony which will hold on Saturday.

However the University Vice Chancellor, Prof Ernest Izevbigie disclosed that the 13th convocation ceremony involves;

A total of 60 first Class degree Students.

A total of 144 Second Class Upper degree Students.

A total of 364 Second Class Lower degree Students.

And a total of 38 Third Class degree Students.

The "Titans" as the graduating students were nicknamed, are trained to produce global top notchers he said.

He added that the institutions convocation lecture will be delivered by the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose.

He mentioned that the Olu of Warri, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwili would be conferred an honorary degree.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Ernest Izevbigie also said that the institution did not increase its tuition fees and based on the present economy of the country, this is not the best time for such increase.
