The board said that adverts were placed on newspapers, text messages were sent to 85,000 candidates who were scheduled to take the supplementary exam warning them that the board will not reschedule the exam for candidates who came late for the supplementary UTME and any candidate who did not receive it was not invited to the exam.

However, the  issue of system failure was addressed by Oloyede that the systems are programmed to trip off if not used for a particular period of time, hence candidates should engage the system. Candidates are also monitored from systems he added.

If a candidate is not making use of the computer, the computer shuts down when it get to the time frame programmed because there is no time for its usage.
