So Much to See and Do in the Smokies!

When you choose to elope to the Smoky Mountains you choose a getaway that can be action packed!  Although your vows might be private there are plenty of cool things to do together in the Smokies to celebrate the occasion.

Find romance in every area of the Smokies.  Did you know that Sampson’s Hollow is located just next to popular Cades Cove.  What a fun day to take the mountains and explore culture the way it used to be.  The vast vistas will be a great background for a “selfie shoot” of just the two of you on your adventure.

Why not ride the wheel at The Island in Pigeon Forge.  The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel runs each day from day into evening and might be a super romantically fun thing to do in our area.

Feeling like dining out?  From Maryville to Townsend, Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg there are hundreds of restaurants to explore.  If you like locally owned and unique you may enjoy Elvira’s in Wears Valley, or why not J.T. Hannah’s in Pigeon Forge, ( a favorite of ours) or any of the hundreds of choices for dining out.

Hold hands, enjoy the sites, save time for some shopping and dining, site seeing and more when you elope to the Smoky Mountains.  Eloping to the Smoky Mountains is a fantastic idea.  Have the Honeymoon you dream of, private lodging with great fun in the area all round.  The Great Smoky Mountains provides an excellent getaway locations. The Smokies are everything you need for your fairytale elopement.  Elope to the Farm at Sampson’s Hollow.

Create a stunning late autumn wedding just for the two of you at Sampsons’ Hollow

Late autumn brings a special time at the farm.  The colors of the trees and the mountain vistas create a backdrop that lasts well in to November.  Indoor and outdoor weddings are held late in to the season as our southern temperatures allow, the red barn is a popular vow location as the season cools.

Trends in colors for late autumn include plums and purples, country apple colors along with hues of caramel and toffee.  When it’s just the two of you we can help with flowers and decorations to make it a dream come true setting for your vow exchange.

Nature provides our backdrop and often great special touches.  Talk with our coordinator about using pine cones, evergreens, winter berries, huckleberries and more for that special warm touch.  We enjoy working with our couples to create that very romantic, story book setting just for you.  A late autumn elopement to the farm in the Smoky Mountains can be so perfect for your wedding.  Consider Sampson’s Hollow as part of your romantic story.
